PRIVACY POLICY
Ground My Mind ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app stores, how it is stored, and how you can manage or delete that information.
1. What the app collects and stores
- Personal information: The app does not require account creation and does not knowingly collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or location
- Preferences and settings: The app stores UI and experience preferences locally (for example: selected theme pack, font choice, and other app-level settings). These are stored on your device to provide a persistent experience.
- Custom routine configuration: If you create a custom routine (exercise selection and order) the app stores that configuration locally so you can run it later.
- Reflections (journal entries): When you save a reflection in the Reflection screen, the entry is stored locally on your device so you can view and manage it later. Reflection entries include the text you entered, a timestamp, and non-identifying metadata such as the selected intensity.
2. Where data is stored
All data described above is stored locally on your device using platform-provided persistent storage (the app uses SharedPreferences/Platform preferences). The following example keys are used internally to persist data (implementation detail and may change):

3. Transmission of data
The app does not transmit user-created content such as, reflections, preferences, or custom routines, to the app author or third parties. The app may use third-party services such as Google AdMob and platform-provided in-app purchase services. These services operate independently and may collect device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, or usage data as described in their respective privacy policies.
4. Third-party links and external apps
The app includes links that can open external sites or apps (for example, a link to the developer's Ko-fi page). Opening those links launches external services which are outside the control of this app; any interaction with those services (including any data they collect) is governed by the external service's privacy policy.
5. Backups and device-level behavior
Data stored by the app may be included in your device backups depending on your device settings (for example, iCloud backups on iOS or Android backup features). If you disable device backups or clear the app's data via your device settings, that will remove the locally stored app data but may not remove data from backups. Backup retention is controlled by the device operating system and the user’s backup provider.
6. Deleting or managing your data
- Reflections: You can delete individual reflection entries from within the Reflection screen. Deleted entries are removed from local storage.
- Preferences and custom routine: You can change preferences via the Settings screen. To fully remove all app-stored data you can clear the app's data through your device's app settings or uninstall the app.
Data stored by the app, such as reflections and preferences, remain on the device until the user deletes it or removes the app.
7. Children's privacy
Because the app does not collect personal information, it is not designed to gather data from children. If you believe a child has had their personal information collected within the app, please contact the developers immediately so that it may be addressed.
8. Security
We take care to store data locally using platform mechanisms. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure — protect access to your device and consider device-level protections (screen lock, device encryption, backup settings) as appropriate. The app does not encrypt local data beyond the protections provided by the operating system.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app collects or transmits data (for example, by adding syncing or analytics), we will update this Privacy Policy and clearly notify users of material changes.

11. Governing law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
